Colorado Summer Outdoor Class
Colorado is a grand place to host our how-to disaster preparation training sessions. This is a view from an area about one hour west of Colorado Springs. The class you attend will either be near here, or in a very similar area close by, where classes can be in the great outdoors but still close to civilization. The class setting will be in the Rocky Mountains next to natural resources; to enable an environment that will provide a realism to the learning experience.
This is my ‘home-away from home’ rig. It will be located next to each class area to house equipment, supplies and our staff.
Class attendees will be provided with a sleeping bag, pillow, and share with others a community tent(s) (gender separate). You will be using a class built latrine.

Weather, location of nearby forest operations, wildlife, etc. may require us to move to alternate places for the actual class you attend. All of our locations are within two hours of Colorado Springs.
Activities that are centered around the fundamental necessity of water will be at all outdoor classroom locations. You will learn may different ways to store, purify and filter water.
